This policy explains what MuseZeuM collects when you register, bid or buy, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
We collect only what registering and transacting requires.
- Account details — your name, email address and phone number.
- Address, used to verify who you are and to ship what you win.
- Identity documents you upload during registration, so we can approve you to bid.
- Bidding and purchase activity, which forms the record of the sale.
Why we hold it
Registration documents are reviewed by our team to approve bidding, which protects both sides of a sale. Address details are used for delivery and for the paperwork a sale requires. Bidding history is retained because it is the record of what was agreed.
Who can see it
Your identity documents and address are visible only to MuseZeuM staff reviewing your account. They are never shown to other bidders.
Bidding is pseudonymous in public: other collectors see a paddle number, never your name or contact details.
How long we keep it
Account and transaction records are kept for as long as your account is open and thereafter for the period our accounting and tax obligations require. Identity documents are held while the account is active.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Some records tied to completed sales must be retained for accounting reasons, and we will say so if that applies.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. It is required for bidding and checkout to work and is not used for advertising.
